Full Compliment
The Cumberland County League will start the 2008 /09 season with a full list of sponsors following C FM and Crest's withdrawl from the relevent cup sponsorships, the league have announced that CVR and J. Edgar & Son of Workington & Rowrah will sponsor the Whitehaven Cup and Conway Cup, they join league sponsors Tesco and ISS Waterers who back the Peter Dawson Benevolent Cup and Focsa who sponsor the Ken Glover Memorial Shield and Carlisle building firm AP & J Brown who supports the Divisional cup.
It's all systems go for the 2008/09 season, Aspatria and Netherhall kick start it on Wednesday August 6th with the Charity Shield then Champions Netherhall kick start their defence with a home game v the only side to beat them last season in the league Salterbeck on August 9th.
